Grow the business. Lead the vision. Design the organization to carry the rest.

Organizational consulting for CEOs and executive teams navigating the gap between how the organization operates today and what growth now requires.

Does this Sound Familiar?

The same decisions keep cycling back to you. That's not a delegation problem. It's a design problem — and it's consuming the leadership capacity the business needs to grow.
Leaders leave meetings aligned but execute in different directions. The gap between what was decided and what actually happens is where strategic momentum quietly erodes and months of growth get lost.
The right people are in place, but not everyone has grown into what the role now requires. When leadership capability hasn't kept pace with the business, execution slows and the burden concentrates on the people who can least afford to carry it.
Growth keeps adding people and effort, but the underlying friction doesn't change. At some point more stops being the answer — and the cost of that realization keeps compounding.
Execution depends on someone pushing it forward. When that someone is always you, the organization isn't running. You are. And that's the ceiling.
These aren't signs of poor leadership. They're signs the organization has outgrown how it currently operates.
Let's Identify What's Driving This

What Changes When the Organization is Designed for Growth

When your leadership, operating model, organizational capability, and execution practices are aligned to where the business is actually going, this is what changes.

âś“
Revenue opportunity gets captured instead of lost to slow decisions and misaligned execution.
âś“
Leadership capacity shifts to strategic work instead of being consumed by operational friction.
âś“
The organization moves faster when opportunity appears because decisions translate into consistent action.
âś“
Growth stops depending on heroic effort from a few individuals and starts running through the system.
âś“
The leadership team operates as one unit with shared priorities, clear ownership, and less intervention from the top.
âś“
The next stage of growth becomes achievable without the organization breaking under the added complexity.

Who This Is For

This work is for CEOs and executive teams navigating growth and increasing complexity (typically 50–500 employees), where the business has grown but the way it operates hasn't evolved with it.

Leaders typically reach out during their most critical moments:

Growth and Expansion

Rapid growth, new markets, or preparing for the next stage of scale.

Leadership Transitions

Leadership team changes or evolving executive roles.

Rising Complexity

Increased operational or organizational complexity.

M&A and Integration

Requiring leadership, structure, and decision-making to stabilize quickly.

If you’re ready to stop compensating for friction and start fixing what’s driving it, this is where the work begins.

Meet Kayla Monroe

Most advisors work in one lane. They focus on leadership development, organizational design, workforce strategy, or execution as separate problems.

What I do is different. I work across all four of those areas at the same time, because that is how organizations actually function.

What that means in practice:

  • Where leadership clarity is breaking down and what it is costing the organization
  • Where structure, roles, and decision authority no longer match what the business requires
  • Whether the workforce has the capability and capacity to execute what is now being asked of it
  • How execution is designed — or not designed — to create consistent momentum

When these elements are aligned, leaders do not have to stay as close for things to move forward.  Execution becomes more reliable without adding layers, process, or pressure.

What I bring? Grounded, systems-level thinking when complexity increases. I see dependencies and downstream effects leaders are too close to notice. I anticipate what's coming before it becomes urgent. And I'm genuinely energized by the moments many advisors find overwhelming. When your organization is in the middle of complexity, I'm exactly where I want to be.

Growth by Design

For leaders who sense something needs to change but can't quite name what it is yet.

Each edition covers what I am actually observing in growth-stage organizations.  The patterns behind the friction, what is driving them, and what the leaders who navigate it well do differently.

Growth-stage organizations are navigating more complexity than ever. Each issue covers what that complexity actually requires — from leadership and organizational design to AI, workforce, and the macro forces reshaping how businesses have to operate.

No consultant-speak. No generic leadership content. Just clear, direct thinking on what actually matters when the business is growing and the organization has to keep up.
